Dear India

Dear India is a historical coming-of-age drama set in 1890s Calcutta, at the height of the British Empire. It follows a seventeen-year-old British girl whose encounters with India begin to reshape her understanding of art, faith, freedom, and the future expected of her.

As fascination deepens into resistance, Dear India becomes a story about identity, cultural power, and the difficult act of becoming oneself inside a world built on expectation and obedience.
